Newtons Rainbow
£245.00
Our modern understanding of light and colour begins with Sir Isaac Newton (1642-1726). And After a series of experiments he was the first to understand the rainbow — he refracts white light with a prism, resolving it into its component colours: red, orange, yellow, green, blue and violet.
After seeing the most amazing Rainbow while out for a walk In Glasgow, I got home and created this Artwork using the seven colours of the Rainbow. With time and careful mixing, the result a blend of vibrant, bold and contrasting colour.
